Calendar configuration (Legend)

Hi. Is there any way to control the positioning of the calendar chart legend? 

Due to the excessive width of this chart type it frequently becomes limited by the containing element width and the truncated legend positioned far right is not immediately visible. 

Without the legend many users do not understand the information presented and will not instinctively scroll the chart to reveal it.

A simple option to left align the calendar legend would be most appreciated. 

I realise that the calendar can be collapsed in size to fit within the containing element, but this sacrifices visibility of detail to an unacceptable degree.

Should I assume that this is not possible? The legend configuration option is supported by other Google Charts.

The guide documentation states that Calendar "may be undergoing substantial revisions", but there has been no obvious progress in recent months that I've noticed. When can we expect these revisions to arrive?

Am I the only person who uses the Calendar visualisation chart perhaps??
