Hi,

I am using the material design bar chart (google.charts.Bar), but I am having issues applying the logScale option to my haxis.

Using the google.visualization.BarChart with that option works as expected, but when I switch to the new material Bar chart (keeping all other settings/data the same) the logScale:true option is not taken into account.

Does the logScale option work on material charts?

Thanks for any help!
Florian

Lots of features are not yet implemented for the Material charts. Log scale is one of those.

Thanks a lot for the clarification!
Is there a time line or progress tracker that I can keep an eye on?

That could possible help we also with another issue I am currently having with the material bar chart.

Sorry, there's no progress tracker. Each release should bring us closer and closer to feature parity, but other things may take priority.

It looks like the second issue that you're seeing is a bug that causes the 'over' event to get retriggered when setSelection is called. This is certainly a bug, and not just a matter of feature parity, so I'll look into this.

It would be helpful if the documentation is updated to reflect that, if not logScale specifically, at least some options are still unsupported.
