By default, the "outline in the zoom selector is a log scale version of the first series in the chart, scaled to fit the height of the zoom selector", as the documentation states. Is it possible to change the scale to linear?

Ray,

You can specify options for the range selector of the AnnotationChart by putting them under a 'range' option, and the options for the chart inside the ChartRangeFilter go in ui: { chartOptions: {} }.  So, to turn off the logScale option on the vertical axis, you want:

var options = {
    ...
    range: { ui: { chartOptions: { vAxis: { scaleType: 'linear' } } } }
}
