Something I hadn't noticed before but sometimes the formatting of the Google Sheet shows up in the axis labels of the Google Visualizations charts.

What was happening before I changed the Sheet formatting from "General" or "Automatic" to one of the Numeric options was that the charts started to show things like General800, General1200, General1600 on the Y-axis.

It was easily fixed, but a little disconcerting when I first saw it.

Thanks for reporting this.  The "General" string is a format specification coming from the spreadsheet server, and it used to be ignored by charts, but at some point we made a change after which it starting being used.  I believe we will have to add a special check for this 'General' format and just ignore it if it is there.  Perhaps 'Automatic' as well.
