Arrows at the ends of lines in line charts.

Is there a simple option for putting arrows on the ends of lines in line charts?
I'm using classic line charts (couldn't get manual tick marks to work in Material Line Charts).

I've seen an option of placing an image at the end of a line, but that seems overly complex for just adding an arrow.

Probably not any time soon.  It doesn't sound difficult to add this to line charts, but there is also not much demand for it.  It is more likely to happen when we add support for network diagrams, which often require arrows to make sense of directed links.
