KML as input for GeoChart?

I want to use GeoChart for ease of functionality to present data on neighborhoods of Marion County, Indiana. I have KMLs that have the data, but serving them through web pages as maps is horribly clunky in comparison to a GeoChart. I have plenty of experience with national-level GeoCharts. Is there a hack to get a GeoChart to use the KML or some KML-derivable coordinates as input for its map and take advantage of the other features of GeoCharts?
