Converting a line chart to a column chart

I have a line chart with production and consumption by day, i.e. the data is date, production, consumption.  I'd like to use the same data for a column chart, and ultimately add a ten point rolling average for the production and consumption.

I'm sure it can be done, and I'm sure simply, but I'm still a novice at this.

Any help/direction would be appreciated.
