Barchart Graph Issues

Am using Barcharts.  I have the issues below..

[1] The data volume is very high so the bars look like thin lines.  Is it possible to maintain the same thickness of the bars irrespective of the dataset volumne.

[2] How to have gaps between one bar to another bar?

[3] Is it possible to reduce the font size of the "Legend"?

[4] Is it possible to save the graph as PDF.  I tried but only half of the graph is coming.
