query function: need where format for multiple choice question in Google Forms

I have people registering for events on one google form. in my response spreadsheet, i have the query function set to delineate which event (currently class 1 -5) each person has selected onto a separate tab .  However, if someone signs up for multiple classes (using the multiple choice question, how do i write the WHERE so that it sorts the same person's info into each of the class tab as requested?  Please understand i am new to this but pick up very quickly.
