ComboChart - last series always set to "line" instead of "bar"

I have been working with the combo chart as a front end for the results from a database, and all the data is linked properly, however I would like the last series to be always set to a "line" form, currently I have to pre-set it manually and it doesn't allow me to pass in a variable instead of the hard-coded value. I'll be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks.
