Chart not updating. cash problem?

a Google Visualization API
I use on my Website a Google Chart which gets the data to be displayed from a json file which is automatically generated by PHP. Normally when a new json file is generated the chart is automatically updated and everything works well. However sometimes it doesn't work, ie when the json file changes the chart is not updated. The only way to get it updated is to clear the browser's cache and redraw.
I tried inserting <HEAD><META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache"></HEAD> in the specific HTML page but it doesn't help.
