Skopje isn't recognized as a municipality through its 3166-2 code

Hello,

I'm currently working on a project which required a regional Geochart of Macedonia, Republic of in the form of a heat map. I am targeting each municipality through its 3166-2 code, as suggested in the Google Charts API, but Skopje and several other municipalities are not getting recognized.

This is the current territorial organization of Macedonia: https://www.iso.org/obp/ui/#iso:code:3166:MK

It seems that Google Charts is not aware of the municipalities which got deleted on 27 November 2015.

Please provide some assistance on how I could possibly approach this differently.
