to Google Visualization API
Hi,
I've been using canvasjs but it requires a license to redistribute, so I wanted to use google charts.

The server runs on the same machine as the browser, so there is no internet latency when loading the data.

There are between 300,000 and 400,000 datapoints.

CanvasJS is instantly responsive, I can scroll and zoom without delay.

Google Charts renders at about 10 seconds per frame and hangs the browser when I hover over it. Google Charts appears to be OK up to about 10-20k points, but beyond that performance craters.

Are there techniques for optimizing google charts for large datasets, or is the API not intended for anything this large?

Thanks,
Peter
