horizontal stripes

Hi,
i would like to make a horizontal stripe over the graph, say between two horizontal grid lines?
Interval leaves space at the beginning and at the end because chart is wider than data points.

Could you draw a picture of what you are thinking of?

Generally, there is not a way to draw arbitrary things on top of charts, but if you can convert what you want into some data that could be drawn as if it were a chart element, you might be able to get close to what you want.
