GC SQL 2nd Generation Set Root Password "Failed to Load"

Hi Team,

I Created google cloud 2nd generation GC SQL instances. when i go to gc sql instances>access control>users it showing me failed to load.
previously i am able to set root password so that i can create my db and db users. 

please find the attached screenshot for more info.

Hi Rupesh,

Sorry about that. There's an issue with the Users page for Second Generation instances and we are working on a fix.
As you mentioned in the other thread, you can use "gcloud sql instances set-root-password" as a temporary workaround. 
This is a UI issue with the Users page and should not affect the functionality of your instance.

Is there a command to update the root password through the Google Cloud Shell interface

 "gcloud sql instances set-root-password"  should work in Cloud Shell
