MySQL Database Server Keeps Dropping - Case 15694836

Hello, 

We have been facing constant issues with our MySQL Cloud server in the past few days. 

As per ticket 15694836 server was offline for an extended period of time. We tried restarting and it was then stuck on restart mode for over 6 hours. 

We were forced to create a new instance whihc is also suffering with constant restarts and offline periods. 

Is it possible to get a clear response on how long this problem will persist?

anyone else getting intermittent "Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 38" error from AppEngine Classic->CloudSQL. Just started this monring (5/10/18, around 10:25EST) although I've seen it before

I checked if there were other issues reported around the time frame, but I didn't find any. If you are still facing the issue, please open an issue tracker including your instance connection name for further investigation. For privacy reasons, make sure the issue has a Private component.
