Hi,

I am trying to figure out if there is automatic failover for Cloud SQL 1st gen in case of zone outage in EU.

When looking in the docs in table Regional Coverage it looks as automatic failover between zones in same region for Cloud SQL is not available in EU.

But then, in table Multi Regional Coverage EU is listed.

How should I interpret this? Does that mean that if there is a zone outage in a EU region automatic failover will happen, but it will failover to a zone in another region?

Kind regards,
Anders Davoust

I believe this is a docs bug - Cloud SQL first generation does have zone level redundancy and automatic failover in Europe. I will get the docs updated.

David
