Hi

I have a set of databases that are about 64G in size but my Cloud SQL Storage Usage shows around 768 Gb and growing.

I have also a failover database and it only shows 84Gb.

My Question is:  How do i know why I am using so much Storage ?  I know it can be backups or binlogs but there is no place to check that out.

Could you help me ?

Cheers

It is possible to get the size of the binlogs in order to see if that's the issue. On MySQL it can be done with SHOW BINARY LOGS [1], for more information on how to manage and view your binary logs and storage for a CloudSQL instance, see [2] and for more information on the impact and the effects of binary logging on your CloudSQL instance storage, please see [3].
