PostgreSQL Extension request: btree_gist and btree_gin

to Google Cloud SQL discuss
Both of these provide operators for many other pg types so that they can be used in gist/gin indexes (eg. a (daterange, int) gist index or a (jsonb, int) gin index).

We expect to start a rollout of a new release in coming weeks.

Setting your instance(s) to maintenance timing to 'Early' and relaxing maintenance window should allow your instances to be updated sooner.
