Regarding Root User Permission Issues.

Dear Google ,

When i creating sql instance root user automatically created but this user don't have DBA and Super user privileges when i attempt to provide these access through google cloud shell.
It was not properly process.

Please do something to help me???

Hello Naveen,


To connect from cloudshell using the mysql client, you may check this quick tutorial, and to configure root and other users you can check this link. Furthermore, Cloud SQL Instances are fully managed by Google Cloud platform, and signing into the instance as root you have all privileges except super and file as mentioned in this document. For more information about the features and differences between Cloud SQL and both standard MySQL/PostgreSQL you may check this document and this FAQ.  On the other hand, if you are planning to fully manage the instance yourself, you may look at creating an SQL instance in GCE like this example in Cloud Launcher.
