Calling Google Service Control API failed with: 400 and body

We're noticing an increase in error messages that popped up ~1:15pm EST
[libprotobuf ERROR external/servicecontrol_client_git/src/service_control_client_impl.cc:214] Failed in Check call: Calling Google Service Control API failed with: 400 and body:     KProto over HTTP is not allowed for service 'servicecontrol.googleapis.com'.

The image we're using is still running is 2.32.0

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Thanks for notifying us. We are also seeing spikes in errors internally.

We will start mitigation steps now. The errors should resolve without any change to ESP.

Thanks so much for getting back so quickly, we're still experiencing quite some issues on our end. Do you have any recommendations are some rough estimations on a timeline?
I've also opened a support issue but they didn't seem to know much on their end.

We are getting this following error since 2PM (Brazil TZ) on API Gateway logs: 

Calling Google Service Control API failed with: 400 and body: KProto over HTTP is not allowed for service 'http://servicecontrol.googleapis.com'.

Service control service (which ESP depends on) is doing a rollback.
