Error in creating cloud endpoint in Compute Engine

Hello everybody, I need to create a cloud endpoint on compute engine, I followed this create endpoint on compute engine with Debian instance , but I need to create on ubuntu instance not debian. I didn't find any tutorial to create endpoints on ubuntu instance deployed on compute engine. I followed previous link and got error in "Running the sample API" section in step 4: "Set up a virtual environment",  when run "./bin/pip install -r requirements.txt" I get "error no such file or directory". I created an empty file named "requirements.txt", then when run I get "You must give at least one requirement to install (see "pip help install")"

If previous link is for Debian instances only, please tell me how to get out from this trouble or give me a tutorial for ubuntu instances.

Are you in the wrong directory? The instructions refer to https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/python-docs-samples/blob/master/endpoints/getting-started/requirements.txt. In the worst case, you can just copy the contents into requirements.txt.

Okay, I copied content from here into a file I created named 'requirements.txt' and run this commend " ./bin/pip install -r requirements.txt" successfully,

But run next command " ./bin/gunicorn -b :8081 main:app"   gave  'error no such file or directory'.

I'm following steps here, in "Running the sample API" section and when execute this command "gcloud compute scp --recurse . [INSTANCE-NAME]:~/"  no error appeared in windows cmd.

I understood that  previous command will copy files from getting-started on my local machine to /home/current_user  in cloud instance ,

I connected to instance via Win SCP on windows 10 but I can't find the deployed files in the instance in /home/current_user.

Finally, I dragged files from getting-started sample into /home/current_user with winSCP.

May I can't find deployed sample files on my cloud instance or  this command "   gcloud compute scp --recurse . [INSTANCE-NAME]:~/

"  not run for me on ubunut 16.04 LTS .

I'm not entirely sure what state you're in right now. Do you have the files uploaded to a GCE VM?

Thank you, endpoint code uploaded and run successfully.

        The problem with me was that  command "gcloud compute scp --recurse . [INSTANCE-NAME]:~/"  didn't upload files

    or may be uploaded somewhere else. I uploaded files using SFTP.
