Hi Guys,

I am building a website and I resize elements accordingly in javascript, when I drag and change the window size my website resizes accordingly however when I open up chrome devtools and toggle the mobile devices my layout appears to be wrong. My understanding is that if the website scales accordingly when I resize the browser manually it should work when chrome emulates mobile devices. Is the mobile emulation not working properly?

I believe it should work. But you do have to add an appropriate viewport definition for it to work, otherwise mobile browsers use fixed widths or 1024 pixels or 980 pixels or something like that. Do you have a viewport definition?

It could be buggy. You can help us diagnose by viewing your site on some real mobiles / tablets / etc.
