I use the devtools on my desktop to debug a node.js program on my Raspberry Pi.  The hostname of that machine is 'rpi0'.  It would be very nice if the URL generated for use in the Chrome browser used that hostname instead of 'localhost.'

The workaround is not hard - cut/paste the URL and change the hostname, but it is tedious and error prone.

Is there currently some way to override this?  If not, could we put an override on the command line or, better yet, simply substitute the actual hostname?

This would be better addressed in a bug on Node.js's github here: https://github.com/nodejs/node/issues
