Hi,

While remote debugging android mobile phone, the inspect button under dev tools does not openthing. Whereas we should be able to inspect the page running on mobile device.

The reload, focus and close buttons are working fine. Only inspect button is not working.

Please refer to the attached screenshot for reference.

Kindly help as i am new to Chrome dev tools. I have been stuck for really long time.

Regards,

Please send me your chrome://version for both: desktop Chrome and Android Chrome.

Hello,

The latest release of Chrome 65.0.3325.109 on Android Playstore has seemingly broken ADB tools. When I attempt to inspect a WebView via the developer tools I am met with a blank page that does not load anything.

Phone is Samsung Galaxy S7 with Android 7.0

Steps to reproduce

I connect my phone to my laptop via USB and open Chrome on my laptop. I then press F12 to bring up developer tools and navigate the developer tools to "Remote Devices" where I select my mobile device. On my mobile device I open an application such as a Cordova application I'm working on and then in my developer tools I click "Inspect". Prior to the update, I could then inspect the hybrid application that was running on my phone. Post update I can only see a blank page that doesn't load anything further.

Additional

I uninstalled all updates on Chrome and reverted back to 60.0.3112.116 (The base application my phone came with) and the debugging tools seemingly work just fine which further indicates that it is a break in the latest release. Also note that my auto-update was enabled so my Chrome was progressing constantly through the various releases without a hitch until now.

Please advise on when this might be fixed.

I have now reverted back to factory Chrome (60.0.3112.116 and the remote device console is working again for me. Thanks again for your help.
