Hello,

does a trigger for onClick exist?

I want to start a script by clicking into the sheet and register, which cell was clicked.

No, there is no onClick event for a Google Sheet.

AJ is correct, there is no "onClick()" event or method offered by the sheets interface or API. If this is truly something you absolutely must have, I think you would have to "listen" at the browser level, and create your own javascript event listener, then install via a browser add-on. But that is beyond the scope of this Group.

It sounds like you want an onEdit Function.
