Scenario - I set up a Church website, they have ownership on their Google Drive and I have editing from within my own drive (documentation to do this is elsewhere).

They can open sheets, but no access to script or triggers since I have editing rights.

My sheets are editable, with the scripts, but the triggers remain with the church. Since I now have editing rights the triggers are in limbo.

I can see them on my drive by removing the ownership filter, but I cant change or delete them.

I tried enabling editing for the church as well as me, but that did not seem to be allowed eg only one editor allowed.

Any idea? thank you.
Al.

So I'm clear: you have created a sheet on the church gdrive and that sheet has a bound script. Without having edit access to the sheet the church has used the script to create a trigger, and you now want to delete/update the church's triggers.

Is that right?

Exactly, what I didnt mention is that originally I created the site on Church Google, at that stage the scripts and triggers were standard owner edit. Then I shared edit mode with my google and changed the ownership of the script to my google, so the church cannot edit, but can use the script, but in so doing the only way I can view the triggers is through other filter, which doesnt let me change the trigger. Of course, since the church cant edit the script, they now cant see their triggers.

Try to give Church their edit control back and then change their triggers. That might work.

If I use the church account then below works thanks for your help.
Found the answer:

If your scripts run on a time trigger, you can view all of your triggers by using the following link:
https://script.google.com/home/triggers

Google Apps Script home is at:
https://script.google.com/home
You can see all of your script executions at:
https://script.google.com/home/executions
Script executions can be filtered for:
Status - Failed
If you find a row in your executions of a failed execution, click on the icon of the 3 dots, and choose "Open Project" to open the script in the script editor
