Deleting a rogue deployment

I have an archived deployment that I have failed to delete.

Every time I try to, it says that it is still an active deployment and yet it has not been active for days. This is the message I get:

Following these instructions leads nowhere. The rogue deployment doesn't even show up under Publish > Deploy from manifest.

Is there any trick I can use to delete this?

Maybe trying switching IDEs? Try deleting from both old and new IDEs.

The old editor is the only one which allows deleting. The new editor only archives the deployment.

Wouldn't you be able to redeploy the script with no code in the doGet or doPost. Then it would do nothing and no one can access it.

In the new editor just click on App Script in the upper left hand corner.  All your projects will be displayed and you can delete any one of them.

I want to delete a deployed version, not a project.

I have been able to delete other versions since this error first showed up but there is that one version that just won't go away.
