I am facing a challenge with Google Workspace file sharing permissions and would appreciate any guidance or best practices you can share.
Issue: We need to allow external non-domain users to collaborate on files. These users are not added as members of the shared drives but have been given edit permissions on specific files. The problem is that, due to their edit permissions, they are also able to share these files with others, which is something we want to restrict.
Question: Is there a flag or a specific setting that I can configure using GAM, or a combination of settings within Google Workspace, that would prevent these external non-domain users from sharing files even though they have edit permissions? Any advice on file corrections using GAM to address this issue would also be highly appreciated.
