Looking for count of emails from a specific sender

to GAM for Google Workspace

I've tried many iterations to get a count for the number of messages from a specific sender. I found a query online that is supposed to do this, but keep getting invalid choice error for >>>user<<<. If I remove the all users portion, I get the same error for >>>messages<<<.

Here is the query:

gam user all users show messages query "from:user...@domain.com" sendermatchpattern "from:user...@domain.com" countsonly

The "from" and "sender" are the same email address.

I'm running GAM GMADV-XTD3 7.00.38 on Windows 11. Other unrelated commands work, so my installation/configuration appears to be good.

You should upgrde to GAM7: https://github.com/GAM-team/GAM/wiki/How-to-Upgrade-GAMADV-XTD3-to-GAM7#windows

It uses your existing project.

Gracias por contactarnos. Tal como dice Ross, te recomiendo mucho que actualices a GAM7. El comando que estás usando es de una versión anterior y GAM7 tiene muchas mejoras y correcciones de errores. El enlace que te pasó Ross es la mejor manera de hacerlo.
