GAM: Suppress email notifications to users about calendar permissions changes

I have to make calendar permission modifications using groups to hundreds of calendars. When I make a change, it spams every user in the group. It there a way to suppress emails messages while I'm making calendar permission changes?

I don't know that GAM can do this because Google Apps and the Calendar can't do it, according to Google support. I created an enhancement request some time ago for this, and it disappeared into the void. We have resources that we want to be visible to all staff with certain permissions, and for every one of them, it blasts sharing notifications to every staff person. Then everyone is confused, asking me what it's for, and so on. This needs to be fixed.

If GAM can do it, that would be very helpful.

I dont have a solution, but as a work around, could you create a rule under Apps, Google Apps, Gmail that will block these messages? Assuming their is some consistent wording you can search for?

The turn on the filter, make the changes, turn off the filter (just in case it blocks things you want your users to get) = no more confusion!
