Hello everyone. We are needing to force update chromebooks without having to physically touch them. Is there a way to accomplish this using GAM?

Jonathan,

Not simply; there are 15+ policies controlling ChromeOS updates. Updating Chrome policies with GAM is tedious.
In the Admin console, go to Devices/Chrome/Settings/Device and scroll down to Device update settings.
It would be easiest to set the policies here.

Thanks for the reply Ross. I was hoping there would be a work around for devices who may have missed or skipped some updates. I have tweaked the settings in Google Admin console so hopefully they will catch up. :) Thanks again!!

Not sure about gam, but if you set up the OU to update to a version with no warning and set minimum OU to same, users will not be able to log in until the update is complete.
