Hi everyone,

I am working on a Workspace tenant migration and I set up a series of OUs and sub OUs with inheritance blocked. I would like for the sub OU that I'm using to split our locations to act as a "root" OU for all of the sub OUs underneath it, and allow for inheritance for the sub OUs to the location "root" OU.

Is inheritance possible in this way, and if so, how can I go about configuring this?

Thank you so much,
Corey

Corey,

When you create an OU, you specify whether it's sub-OUs inherit its settings; the default is yes.
In the command:
inherit = blockInheritance False
noinherit = blockInheritance True

Do not use the block inheritance OU setting. It's being deprecated and will stop working in the future.

@Ross Scroggs we should probably remove the ability to set block inheritance to true but allow admins to turn it off.
