Adding "filepath" to gam print filelist removes many rows?

Hi all:

Sorry to be spamming this list this morning, but I thought this second question deserved its own subject line:

I just noticed something a little strange when I add “filepath” to the gam print filelist command—it seems that something like 2/3rds of the rows don’t show up in the output anymore.

With “filepath” (wc -l shows the number of lines in the output):

$ gam user per...@example.edu print filelist showownedby others fields viewed, lastviewedbymedate, owners, parents, name,id,sharedWithMeTime, sharingUser, mimetype filepath | wc -l
Getting all Drive Files/Folders that match query (not 'me' in owners) for per...@example.edu
Got 17626 Drive Files/Folders that matched query (not 'me' in owners) for per...@example.edu...

5536

Without “filepath”:

$ gam user per...@example.edu print filelist showownedby others fields viewed, lastviewedbymedate, owners, parents, name,id,sharedWithMeTime, sharingUser, mimetype  | wc -l
Getting all Drive Files/Folders that match query (not 'me' in owners) for per...@example.edu
Got 17626 Drive Files/Folders that matched query (not 'me' in owners) for per...@example.edu...
17627

Anyone know what’s going on here? And more specifically, how to show the file path for a file if it’s available, but not exclude the files that don’t have a file path?

Thanks,

Ian

Ian,

This sounds like a bug  I fixed but I don't see it in GamUpdates.txt. What's your version?

Ross

Hi Ross:

I was on 6.25.01, upgrading to 6.27.06 did the trick, thanks!

Cheers,

Ian
