I'm trying to use Advanced GAM to add the latest Classroom interaction data to an existing Google Sheet. My plan is to run this as a scheduled task on a daily basis then do some analysis in the spreadsheet in another tab.

I'm trying (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa11111  is a placeholder file id, obviously):

gam report user ou /Students parameters classroom:timestamp_last_interaction todrive tdfileid aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa11111 tdtitle "Classroom Daily Activity Report" tdaddsheet tdsheet ""

I've gradually removed bits from the example James posted here but I can't figure out where I'm going wrong...

All help gratefully received.

Simon

I'm running a similar process and I want it to run weekly.  However it can't update because the string after tdtitle already exists.  Is there a way to also add the date that it is run?

Cassie,

I believe we can get you where you want but I'm slightly confused.
What can't be updated? Show me the command and describe what yiu want.

Cassie,

If you're trying to update an existing tab within an existing sheet, but the tab has a variable name, use it's id instead of its name.

tdfileid <DriveFileId> tdsheet id:12345 tdupdatesheet

The sheet id is the number after gid= at the end of the URL.
