URGENT! The error Error: 1301 - Entity xx...@xxx.xxx does not exist is BACK when trying to assign a delegate. I recall this was a Google problem and they had to resolve.
Anyone else see it? What's the fix/workaround ???
I'm on gam-3.62-windows-x64 but it's wasn't a version or gam issue last time
ANYONE?

Here's the "official" answer from Google on my case reported TODAY

Our Google Apps team offers support for the core suite of Google Apps services defined athttp://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/terms/user_features.html. The issue you’ve experienced is currently outside the scope of our support offering and we won’t be able to offer you further direct assistance at this time.

You can always  post a question on the GAM forums as per https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/google-apps-manager.

However, I can help you if this is an API issue related to our servers. I tried on my end and , although the error displays, it allowed me to delegate the mailbox - despite of the error, delegation is already set. Please, verify if the delegation was in place also in your case.

Angel,

In the 1970's show Laugh-In, Lily Tomlin played Ernestine, a phone company operator. This reply reminds me of one of her famous scenes.

Ross

Ernestine: A gracious hello. Here at the Phone Company, we handle eighty-four billion calls a year. Serving everyone from presidents and kings to the scum of the earth. So, we realize that, every so often, you can't get an operator, or for no apparent reason your phone goes out of order, or perhaps you get charged for a call you didn't make. We don't care!

Watch this... [ she hits buttons maniacally ] We just lost Peoria.

You see, this phone system consists of a multibillion-dollar matrix of space age technology that is so sophisticated -- [ she hits buttons with her elbows ] even we can't handle it. But that's your problem, isn't it? So, the next time you complain about your phone service, why don't you try using two Dixie cups with a string? We don't care. We don't have to. We're the Phone Company.

Yes, that's hysterical. I'm wishing I had an old-fashioned switchboard between me and my users wanting the delegation done.
:(

Delegation seems to be one of the flakier APIs - I routinely see it fail for a few dozen minutes and then finally succeed.
