Google Classroom assignment information

Is it possible to get information on a Google Classroom assignment that has not yet been assigned. It is still a draft? Specifically I would like to know who created the assignment.

Hi Tom,

This seems like a tricky one but you may be able to do it via the online 'test versions' of the api's 

https://developers.google.com/classroom/reference/rest/v1/courses.courseWork/list

should allow you to put in the courseid of the course and filter down to DRAFT.

From some quick testing the returned data seems to contain the google user id of the staff member as "creatorUserId who set up the coursework. Interestingly if it had been published it seems that the owner of the class becomes the owner of the coursework even if it was setup by someone else...

I haven't been able to find the equivalent gam command but as it's in the api it may be in there.
