logs in Google Workspace

to GAM for Google Workspace
Currently I run gam in a VM, my colleague and I ssh into the same local account. Whenever I make the changes it appears in the Google Workspace audit logs with my name on it. This is good when I do it. How can I do it so that my colleague name appears whenever he makes changes. 

Is there something I should be doing in the gam project file to see the login as separate? or would there have to be an other instance of gam to be install so that his name appears instead whenever he makes his own changes or whatever?

You'll have to have two projects; what is your gam version?
