I'm trying to sync an OU to a class.  I printed out a copy of my OU structure so I would know what to type in for the OU and I double checked the class ID and that's okay.  I just can't seem to find students in the OU.  Here is the output for what I'm typing in:

dbroersma2017@dbroersma2017-System-Product-Name ~ $ gam course 7103180393 sync students ou /Students/Elementary School/Class of 2024
Got 0 students...

Getting all users in the G Suite organization (may take some time on a large domain)...

ERROR: 400: Invalid Input: INVALID_OU_ID - invalid

I know I have students in that OU so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.  Where should I start trouble shooting this?

you need quotes around OUs if there are spaces in the name. Also, try running

gam print ous

and make sure you're typing the OU name as it shows there.

Dan,

My brain failed me (I was thinking about a different command); yes you want the leading / and the quotes as Jay suggested.

dbroersma2017@dbroersma2017-System-Product-Name ~ $ gam course 7103180393 sync students ou "/Students/Elementary School/Class of 2024"
