Hi, I've created a domain shared contact using gam, and when I run the command "gam show contacts" , it appears correctly.

However, it does not show on our Global Address List.

Does the new contact have to be shared with the GAL somehow?

Send me a Meet/Zoom invitation and we'll investigate.

Domain Shared Contacts and Global Address List are different lists.

If you co/mpose a new email, is the new contact recognized?

No, the contact doesn't populate on new emails, but it also does not have an email address.

It's a phone number for a company hotline that we want to make available in the global address list.

I have availability today between 9am and 4pm Eastern if you are still willing to hop on a Google meet.

Hi Ross,

Yes, I see the domain shared contact on our global address list now.

Wonder if it was an issue on Google's end then.

Probably. The fix for: ERROR: 606 - Does not exist
seems to have broken something else but the fix fix seemed to have resolved the issue.

hi Ross, we have 3 google spaces and I want to create a common list of contacts and upload them to all google workspaces so that users can see each other by name
I created contacts with the command
gam csv C:\contacts4.csv gam create contact firstname "~Name" email work ~"Email" primary organization work ~Company title ~title primary familyname "~familyname" phone work ~phone primary
they were created successfully, but I don't see them in either contacts or Gmail
what could be the problem?
