Creating a clone of a group

I need to duplicate a group with identical settings & members.

I see this in the documentation:

gam create group <EmailAddress> [copyfrom <GroupItem>] <GroupAttribute>*

But I can't get it to run and just looking for some examples. Is there any other documentation on these?

Remove the <> and [], they are meta syntactic characters

gam create group 008_confirmation@domaincom copyfrom 002_conf...@comain.com
