Is there a way to clear a resource calendar?

Looking for a way to clear a resource calendar of events without notifying attendees. I looked through github.com/jay0lee/GAM/wiki/CalendarExamples but it looks like the wipe command is reserved for user calendars only. Also was thinking of a way to do a wildcard on gam calendar id:[id here] deleteevent query * but looks like query was removed as an operative from deleteevent (not that it would've worked anyways). 

So is there a way for us to clear the dozens of resource calendars we have that have gone unused for over a year?

Try this out on one calendar.

gam calendar domain.com_123473...@resource.calendar.google.com  printevents > events.csv

gam csv events.csv gam calendar "~calendarId" deleteevent id "~id" sendnotifications false doit

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I am looking to do a similar thing. I created a test resource to wipe and that worked fine. 

Now I'm doing a test against live events by trying to remove a single instance of a recurring event before wiping everything, and I keep seeing that Google Calendar is booking an available room after the old one is removed. 

gam calendar bl...@resource.calendar.google.com deleteevent id string123 sendnotifications false doit 

Your room in CHI has become unavailable.
We booked an available, similar room for you.

Is there an option I'm missing? I tried support, but they just suggested deleting the resource or all events manually.
