Unused Groups since a year

Hello.

We would request you to let us know whether there is a command in GAM to fetch the group doesn't receive email in last 1 year. We have more than 3000+ groups, which is becoming manual task in Email Log search. Secondly, we checked via Vault with Group retention policy with Group filter however - the drop down doesn't allow the select all the groups. If there is a command in GAM, would be a great help.

Many people have asked this question, there is no data available via API that can help you, that GAM can't help.

I’ll also point out—as I usually do when this sort of question comes up—that Groups aren’t just used for email lists: they can also control access in My Drive and Shared Drives (and Docs, Sheets, Slides and Sites), invitations to Calendar events, etc. So just because a Group hasn’t gotten email recently doesn’t mean it’s not being used....
