 Hello,

I've just ugraded gamadv-xtd3 to the latest version, (hoping to be able to do some edits of individual users' contacts.). The commands I tested did not seem to work, so based on some quick searchin, I figured I might need to do a

     gam oauth delete

   gam oauth create

to make sure I had all needed permissions.

I'm issuing the commands over an ssh session, and the "gam oauth create" step keeps failing. I select all scopes, then "continue" and then copy over the specified URL to a web browser, while logged in to my Google Workspace admin account

(the URL is always something like)

https://gam-shortn.appspot.com/xyzzzy

I'm warned that I will get a browser error after I click the Allow button, and indeed I do. But the error I see is not in the format that the prompt leads me to expects. I says I will get either an error code or a page whose URL contains the string, "scope" but the error page I get just says "Something went wrong. Try Again." and that error page's URL never contains the string, "scope".

The very long URL that I get is in this format:

https://accounts.google.com/info/unknownerror?authuser=0&part=[random alphanumeric xxxxxx&client_id=99999999990-igibberishaiiuae&theme=glif&pli=1&rapt=obfuscated textstringhereblahblahblah&flowName=GlifWebSignIn&flowEntry=ServiceLogin

Pasting that URL just generates an error, and I'm back to where I started.

How do I successfully complete the oauth create step? Thank you.

I am actually having this same issue! I just started a fresh install at a new employer today.

Thanks Ross!

We met over a Meet and in my case, this was happening on the initial creation of the oauth credentials. I had previously been telling it to select all scopes, but while working with Ross, he advised me to leave the selected scopes at the default.

When doing it that way, I found that I had no issues and everything worked as normal. So for me, the issue laid in trying to authorize one of the scopes that was outside of the default set.

Thanks again Ross! I appreciate it very much.
