Query for Null Parents

I transferred ownership of Drive files from one account to another using the Google Admin tool (not using GAM, I won't make that mistake again). Google screwed up and all my files transferred but without parent IDs, so where I expected a bunch of files it's just shortcuts. When searching for a file I can find them but the location is "Shared with me". The Shared with me tab doesn't actually show any of those files either.  I ran 'gam user <user> show fileinfo <id>' and the parents field is empty, in a normal file I can see the parents: id: and isRoot:.

Can someone help me with a query to find the file IDs of all those files? My thought was to try 'gam user <user> print filelist fullquery "parents = ''"' but that caused an error. 

I do have a ticket open with Google support, but I'd like to inventory the files.

I am using GAMADV-XTD3.
