ERROR: notify is not a valid argument for "gam create user"

Hi
Can't figure this out; have read the Wiki and searched this group. Seems like a lot of people use notify.

gam create user test...@domain.com firstname test lastname test recoveryemail "personalemailaddress" notify "personalemailaddress"

ERROR: notify is not a valid argument for "gam create user"


What am I doing wrong ? 

GAM 6.58 on OSX

That option is only supported with Advanced GAM.

Excellent, thank you. Upgraded to Advanced GAM. Now I get:

gam create user test2...@DOMAIN.com firstname "test2" lastname "test2" notify "myaltern...@gmail.com" subject "Welcome to COMPANY"  password random 10 changepasswordatnextlogin   


User: test2...@DOMAIN.com, Created

User: myGAMa...@domain.com, Service not applicable/Does not exist




When I execute:

gam user myGAMa...@domain.com show gmailprofile


I get back:

User:  myGAMa...@domain.com, Service not applicable/Does not exist


But I do have a mail account.


Any help much appreciated.

Did you do the following steps
gam update project
gam oauth crete
gam user us...@domain.com check serviceaccount

Send a Meet/Zoom invitation if you need hepp.

Tried the default browser and pasting it into a different browser (while logged in).
