Can GAM add Custom Fields for Chrome Devices

I would like to add custom device fields like Purchase Date or Purchase Cost for my Chromebook fleet. Can GAM add Device fields similar to the custom schema the Directory API has for creating User custom fields?

The Google Admin Console only shows: Asset ID, User, Location, and Notes for Devices custom fields.

No. You'll have to include the Purchase info in Notes.
