GAM with Service Account

Hey Guys, 

I have created the two necessary files:

client_secrets.json

oauth2service.json

I have Authorized the Service accounts client ID in the Admin Console for the required scopes. The service account has had domain wide delegation enabled. 

Everytime I run the command: gam oauth create 

I get asked: "What is your G Suite admin email address?"

Which ends up creating the oauth2.txt under my account and not as the service account.

Any idea why I cannot get the service account to be used instead of my Credentials?

Do: gam user us...@domain.com check serviceaccount

Substitute a real address for us...@domain.com

Hey Ross, 

I really appreciate the fast reply. So I just did that, and It brought me back into the same loop.

Select scopes, enter 'c' continue with authorization. What is your G Suite admin email address?

Seems there was some confusion on my part regarding what the Service Accounts were able to do. I got everything all setup now.
