Any recommendations for handling large PST files and splitting them down into smaller PST sizes? (preferably from the command line)

Thanks,
Jonathan

My recommendation would be to move away from proprietary, poorly documented file formats like PST which leave you dependent on Microsoft :-/

MBOX format, while far from perfect at least has the benefit of being fairly simple to parse nad having plenty of free, open source tooling to allow management.

Short of that, Google search shows results for various tools that can parse the PST format and split. Most of them seem to have some $ cost to them but usually cheaper than a MS license.

Thanks, Jay,

Migrating from 365 to Google and seeing what can be done from an open-source perspective (command line).
Yes, I see a myriad of tools that split up PST files that have a cost associated which I'm willing to pay if there are no other open-source approaches available.

The approach at this time is PST and GWMME into Workspace.
Could PST -> MBOX -> Gmail be a better approach overall?

I appreciate it and will do more research.
