Hi!

I'm trying to move some folders/files (and so on in recursive mode) from MyDrive to a Shared Drive, but only those files/folders that are shared with other person, organization, whatever, I mean, that file/folder has a shared permission. I'm trying next command:

gam user XX@XX print filelist title select IDMyDrive permissions shared

I obtain all files and folders that are shared with someone, there's a command that actually cand move those shared files and folder to a Shared Drive, or maybe just obtain each ID and move one by one? I tryed:

gam user XX@XX move drivefile root permissions shared teamdriveparentid IDSharedDrive

but not succesfully..

Thanks in advance :)

Hi Ross,

Thanks for your reply. Don't worry about it, we changed the strategy. The idea is the same but migrating all data from user's Drive to another user's Drive in other organization. These are the steps to migrate:

User's Drive > Shared Drive of his org > Shared Drive of other org > User's Drive of other org

My doubt now is when I want to copy one structure like this (for example) already in Shared Drive of other org to User's Drive of other org:

Folder1 Shared (inside more folder and docs)
Folder2 Not shared
Docs shared and not shared

I saw a lot of examples copying but only one folder, I want to copy all Shared Drive (with ID X) to user's Drive (with ID Y) but I think GAM Advance cannot do this. One method would be to recurse all the Share Drive and take ID for each doc/folder and copy. Another solutions would be aggregate a parent folder in Shared Drive above these structure and do copy command to user's drive. What's better/faster?

Thanks :)
